The first idea behind Teddykompaniet came about 20 years ago. Raili Norling had just become a new granny. When she couldn't find a teddy bear that lived up to her own high standards of quality and appearance, she started to draw some sketches of teddy bears herself - Teddykompaniet was born. Design, emotional connection and safety have always been important pillars in the creative process at Teddykompaniet. The child's safety is a key objective. The younger the children, the higher the standards are set for the product. The soft toys must withstand being ripped and pulled. They must be safe to chew and they must be easy to wash without falling apart. All teddy bears from Teddykompaniet have CE-marking and comply with EU's regulatory framework for soft toys - EN71. This means they are safe for children to use, they are made from non-flammable material and free from toxic chemicals. Please refer to the age suitability guidelines for each product.
